In Tuesday's league battle, the host Eastside Eagles soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Clarke Central Gladiators.
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Sprayberry was nudged by LaGrange (LaGrange, GA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
The Gladiators (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Loganville (Loganville, GA). The Red Devils come into the 5A Region 8 battle with a 9-0 record. In their last battle, Loganville nudged Berkmar (Lilburn, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
