The Valley Vikings baseball team (Albuquerque, NM), 10-8 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM)

The Monarchs now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Mesa for a non-league bout on Friday, March 10. Manzano will face a Mustangs team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
