White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Timberwolves face the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, March 9. White Knoll will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC).
The Yellowjackets now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastside for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. Irmo will face a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Daniel (Central, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
