New Mexico High School Softball - Belen bounces Valley

March 7, 2023: Belen, NM 87002

The Belen Eagles routed the visiting Valley Vikings softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Mayfield was routed by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 13-3, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sandia for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 9. Valley will meet a Matadors squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 1-4.
