New Mexico High School Softball - Big Spring knocked off by Hobbs

March 7, 2023: Hobbs, NM 88240

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), by a margin of 14-4.

With the triumph, Hobbs moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Eagles host Lovington (Lovington, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, March 17. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-3.

In their next game, the Steers play the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 10. Big Spring will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record.
