Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snowflake for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9. Canyon View will battle a Lobos squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ). The Lobos record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Notre Dame Prep falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Saints host Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 8. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Centennial lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ)
