Clint Lions (Clint, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting El Paso Leadership Academy East Leaders (El Paso, TX), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Roswell for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. Clint will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, El Paso Leadership Academy East falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Leaders host San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. San Elizario won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Gadsden (Anthony, NM)
