In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Point Loma Pointers softball team scored a close 11-5 win over the Coronado Islanders.

In their next game, the Pointers play the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 9. Point Loma will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
