Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX), 21-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Buckaroos now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Premont for a 2A Region IV District 32 challenge on Monday, March 13. Freer will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Karnes City falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Marion (Marion, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-9. Marion lost 15-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Wimberley (Wimberley, TX)
