In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Latexo Tigers softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Mumford Mustangs.
Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 10. Latexo will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Lumberjacks enter the outing with a 3-1 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX).
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Somerville (Somerville, TX). The Yeguas enter the 2A Region IV District 26 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Somerville was routed by Burton (Burton, TX), 14-0, in a league outing.
