In Tuesday's non-league contest, the St. Pius X Panthers (Houston, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Lutheran South Academy Pioneers (Houston, TX), by a margin of 13-2.
With the triumph, St. Pius X moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lindale (Lindale, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, March 10. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 8-6.
In their next game, the Pioneers play the Cooper Dragons (The Woodlands, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 9. Lutheran South Academy will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX).
