The West Mesa Mustangs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Rio Grande Ravens to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, West Mesa moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league game on Friday, March 10. The Monarchs come into the game with a record of 2-3. Manzano lost 27-2 in their recent non-league game against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Ravens clash with the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Rio Grande will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record.
