Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), 14-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Holmes upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Aces host North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-1. North Pitt lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Southside (Chocowinity, NC)

With the defeat, Bertie falls to 0-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Monday, March 11. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 0-0.
