In Thursday's non-league game, the host Dutchtown Griffins baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Brother Martin Crusaders.
The Griffins (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Ruston tipped Zachary (Zachary, LA), 9-2, in a non-league game.
The Crusaders (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Dunham by Hahnville (Boutte, LA), 8-4, in a non-league game.
