The Elkhart Elks crushed the host Crockett Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Elks now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a 3A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, March 12. Elkhart will face a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Bay Area Christian (League City, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-3.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 bout, on Tuesday, March 12. Crockett will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX).
