In Thursday's non-league game, the host St. Charles Catholic Comets baseball team scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Episcopal Knights.
The Comets (6-5) will now prepare for their game against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Gators go into the non-league game with a 8-0 record.
The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA). The Cajuns go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Metairie Park Country Day tipped East Jefferson (Metairie, LA), 9-0, in a non-league game.
