The Bears now hold a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, March 8. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will confront a Bloodhounds team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Rio Hondo falls to 9-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, March 7. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 8-4. Los Fresnos won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Economedes (Edinburg, TX)
