In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Sterling Black Bears basketball team scored a good 57-43 triumph over the Plainville Cardinals.
In their next game, the Black Bears meet the Moundridge Wildcats (Moundridge, KS) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 8. Sterling will attempt to better on its 22-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 21-3 record after their 55-37 non-league win over Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS).
With the defeat, Plainville moves to 16-8 on the year.
