In their next game, the Wildcats meet the West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 9. River Falls will attempt to better on its 20-8 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 25-3 record after their 92-71 non-league win over Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton, WI).
With the defeat, Wausau East moves to 20-7 on the year.
