The La Canada Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Paraclete Spirits to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle Rock for a non-league game on Friday, March 8. La Canada will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
The Spirits (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA). The Phantoms enter the game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Cathedral nipped San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
