The Monarch Royals volleyball team (San Diego, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA)

The Lancers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Monte Vista was dropped by High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Royals encounter the O'Farrell Charter Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 8. Monarch will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to The Cambridge School (San Diego, CA).
