The McDonell Central Macks basketball team (Chippewa Falls, WI), was nudged 48-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI)
The Cubans now possess a 25-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Prairie School for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 7. Cuba City will confront a Hawks team coming off a 71-21 non-league win over Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI). The Hawks record now stands at 27-3.
The Macks (27-3) will now prepare for their battle against Laconia (Rosendale, WI). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 28-2 record. In their last battle, Laconia edged Sheboygan Area Lutheran (Sheboygan, WI), 69-58, in a non-league battle.
