Kentucky High School Basketball - Metcalfe County nipped by Todd County Central

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Todd County Central Rebels basketball team scored a tight 51-49 triumph over the Metcalfe County Hornets.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 9. Todd County Central will attempt to move on its 19-12 season record. The Purples enter the match with a 19-10 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY).

With the defeat, Metcalfe County moves to 17-12 on the year.
