The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) and the visiting Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), saw Huntington Beach's lacrosse team nudge Canyon by a margin of 7-6.

The Oilers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Breakers enter the Sunset Surf challenge with a 6-0 record.

The Comanches (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights come into the Crestview battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Foothill was nipped by Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA), 13-12, in a non-league battle.
