Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA), 14-7 in a non-league battle.

The Sailors now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host JSerra Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 12. Newport Harbor will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over El Toro (Lake Forest, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-3.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a Crestview battle, on Tuesday, March 12. Yorba Linda will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Aztecs come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 16-1 league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
