The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) and the host Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), saw Christ the King's soccer squad knock off Cannon by a margin of 2-0.

The Crusaders now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Pine Lake Prep for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, March 11. Christ the King will meet a Pride squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Pride record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Cannon drops to 1-4 on the season. The Cougars host Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Buccaneers in a NCISAA Charlotte test on Tuesday, March 19. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Charlotte Country Day School won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)
