Next, the Cougars confront the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 8. Newnan will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 10-0 league win over Carver (Atlanta, GA).

The Tigers now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Paulding for a 6A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 19.
