In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) baseball squad the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), by a margin of 8-5.

With the win, Pleasant Grove betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles host Woodland (Woodland, CA) to encounter the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 8.
