South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fredericksburg Victory Victory (Fredericksburg, VA), 46-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Wake upgrades its record to 26-7 on the season.

Next up, the Victory clash with the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 8. Fredericksburg Victory will attempt to upgrade on its 27-13 season record. The Stallions go into the bout with a 26-7 record after their 66-53 non-league loss to Spirit HomeSchool (Richmond, VA).
