The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 17-5 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Myers Park upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league outing on Friday, March 8. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Marvin Ridge lost 16-4 in their recent non-league outing against Cannon (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, South Mecklenburg drops to 1-4 on the season. The Sabres travel to South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, March 8. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-1. South Iredell 6-6 in their recent non-league test against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC)
