The Wren Hurricanes held off the visiting Carolina Academy Trojans soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Daniel for a non-league match on Saturday, March 9. Wren will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Carolina Academy drops to 1-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Chapman (Inman, SC) to encounter the Panthers in a AAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, March 12.
