The Lamar County Trojans soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Griffin Bears to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Trojans face the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 4 contest, on Tuesday, March 12. Lamar County will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA).
The Bears now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Spalding for a 4A Area 2 contest on Monday, March 11.
