The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS) and the host Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS), saw Vancleave's softball squad nip Biloxi by a count of 7-1.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne County for a 5A Region 4 match on Friday, March 8.

With the loss, Biloxi falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Indians host D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS) to face the Warriors in a 7A Region 4 match on Tuesday, March 12. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 6-3.
