The Crest Chargers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Burns Bulldogs to 3 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Crest moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Chargers host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Storm in a Big South 3A game on Tuesday, March 12. The Storm come into the game with a record of 0-1. Stuart W. Cramer lost 15-11 in their recent non-league game against Robinson (Concord, NC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 13. Burns will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
