California High School Softball - Salinas bounces Carlmont

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA) and the visiting Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), saw Salinas's softball squad nip Carlmont by a count of 7-3.

The Cowboys now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aragon for a non-league match on Friday, March 8. Salinas will face a Dons squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Notre Dame (Belmont, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-1.

In their next game, the Scots clash with the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 12. Carlmont will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
