In Thursday's non-league contest, the Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), by a margin of 8-0.

With the triumph, Coconino moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Prescott (Prescott, AZ) to play the Badgers in a 4A Grand Canyon contest on Tuesday, March 19. The Badgers come into the contest with a record of 7-4. Prescott lost 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 11. Mesquite will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ).
