California High School Softball - Piedmont bounces De Anza

The Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) softball routed the host De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), 17-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Elite (Vallejo, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Elite was routed by Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA), 22-5, in a non-league bout.

The Dons now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Swett for a Tri-County - Stone bout on Wednesday, March 13. De Anza will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 18-12 non-league loss to St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
