Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), witnessed Parkview Baptist's softball squad tip St. Michael by a count of 13-11.
The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league match on Saturday, March 9. Parkview Baptist will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, St. Michael moves to 5-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Central Private (Baker, LA) to face the Redhawks in a non-league match on Saturday, March 9. The Redhawks go into the match with a record of 6-1.
