The Abbeville Panthers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Landrum Cardinals to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.
The Panthers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thornwell for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Abbeville will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC). The Saints record now stands at 1-2.
The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Centurions enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Broome edged Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC), 12-3, in a non-league outing.
