Louisiana High School Baseball - Ascension Episcopal holds off Vilonia

The Ascension Episcopal baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Vilonia Eagles to 9 in the non-league win on Friday.
The now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Loreauville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Ascension Episcopal will play a Tigers team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Iota (Iota, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-8.
With the defeat, Vilonia drops to 0-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Paragould (Paragould, AR) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Rams go into the test with a record of 1-0. Paragould won 37-0 in their recent non-league test against Piggott (Piggott, AR)
