The Oak Mountain Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Bibb County Choctaws to 5 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.
The Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Homewood for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Oak Mountain will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 12-1 league win over Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Bibb County drops to 11-3 on the year. The Choctaws host Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Golden Bears go into the test with a record of 4-5. Robertsdale won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Saraland (Saraland, AL)
