The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gatesville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. First Baptist Christian will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Calhoun drops to 5-7 on the year. The Sandcrabs travel to Lorena (Lorena, TX) to clash with the Leopards in a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. The Leopards go into the test with a record of 9-0. Lorena won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Taylor (Taylor, TX)
