The Centennial Spartans baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Mansfield Legacy Broncos to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.

The Spartans now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Grand Prairie for a non-league test on Friday, March 7. Centennial will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Azle (Azle, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Mansfield Legacy drops to 6-6 on the year. The Broncos travel to Keller Central (Keller, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 3-6. Keller Central lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX)
