Texas High School Baseball - Orangefield holds off Clifton

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Orangefield Bobcats baseball team scored a close 8-4 victory over the Clifton Cubs.
The Bobcats (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Valley Mills was overwhelmed by Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX), 5-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cubs face the Holland Hornets (Holland, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 7. Clifton will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 0-10 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, TX).
