Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX), 3-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Gateway College Preparatory advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Navasota (Navasota, TX) to battle the Rattlers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 8. The Rattlers come into the match with a record of 5-5. Navasota won 5-4 in their recent non-league match against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX)

The Trojans now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corrigan-Camden for a non-league match on Friday, March 7. Coldspring-Oakhurst will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Lovelady (Lovelady, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
