In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Delcambre Panthers baseball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Gueydan Bears.
The Panthers (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Erath (Erath, LA). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Erath was overwhelmed by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 6-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bears play the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 10. Gueydan will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
