The Desert Scorpions baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars to 5 in the Scorpions non-league win on Friday.

The Scorpions now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lone Pine for a non-league test on Monday, March 10. Desert will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Boron (Boron, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Palmdale Academy Charter School drops to 0-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA) to play the Contenders in a non-league test on Monday, March 10. The Contenders go into the test with a record of 1-3. Faith Baptist lost 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Milken (Los Angeles, CA)
