The East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Fisher Gators (Lafitte, LA), 9-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 10. East Jefferson will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Fisher drops to 10-3 on the year. The Gators travel to Maurepas (Maurepas, LA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Maurepas lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA)
