In Friday's non-league game, the visiting West Stokes Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 13-2 win over the East Surry Cardinals.

The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their game against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, North Davidson knocked off Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 5-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cardinals play the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Foothills 2A game, on Tuesday, March 11. East Surry will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Greyhounds go into the game with a 2-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC).
