The Rio Hondo Prep Kares baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting El Monte Lions to 2 in the Kares non-league win on Friday.

The Kares now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Calvary Baptist for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Rio Hondo Prep will play a Cougars team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
